WHAT IS A CYANOTYPE?
Cyanotype is an alternative technique in photography which has been developed by John Herschel in 1842. Photosensitivity of iron salt is used in cyanotype, after putting the emulsion containing cyanogen manually on the paper in a darkroom and next it has to be exposed to the sun light. This way we will get a unique deep blue prints with a visible facture. The entire process is handmade and it takes 3-4 days to get the final effect.
